We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to support the continued development, improvement, and optimization of an existing mobile application across iOS and Android.

The ideal developer can work confidently within an established codebase, diagnose technical issues, implement new functionality, and deliver a stable experience across devices. Experience with media, streaming, digital publishing, internet platforms, or social applications is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the existing mobile application, codebase, and technical architecture.
• Develop and refine features for iOS and Android.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific inconsistencies.
• Integrate APIs, content feeds, authentication, notifications, analytics, and third-party services.
• Support audio, video, live-streaming, or other media functionality where applicable.
• Test releases across supported devices and operating-system versions.
• Document completed work, technical decisions, and outstanding recommendations.
• Collaborate remotely with product, editorial, design, and technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining production mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of iOS and Android development requirements.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter, or native Swift and Kotlin development.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication, push notifications, mobile analytics, and app-store release processes.
• Ability to enter an existing project, assess its condition, and become productive quickly.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Availability to complete up to 80 hours during the initial engagement.
